Reed Holland is an established architectural and interior design studio with over 35 years’ experience. We have a firm reputation for providing high quality design solutions and can assist in all sizes of project, from residential schemes to multi-million-pound commercial developments.

We’re a friendly bunch of creatives and problem-solvers, and we are driven by the challenge of bringing a client’s vision to life.

We believe that architecture has the power to create beautifully effective shelter for the needs, hopes, dreams and memories of everyone, both collectively and individually.

Our studio is made up of an eclectic mix of talents and experience, each person bringing something special and unique to every project we work on.

How we work

The way we work inspires excellence. Our studio provides an environment for the rigorous exploration and evaluation of ideas, concepts and detail, ranging from sketches, drawings and simple models to advanced computer-based design techniques.

Our managerial process balances resources to ensure we always maintain the highest level of service.

Our design process challenges accepted solutions, employs evidence-based reasoning and generates architectural excellence and added value through innovation.

Working together

We enjoy dynamic teamwork, both internally and externally. We have developed an iterative design process with regular structured reviews. This process also guarantees that working together as a team we can always provide timely, effective and comprehensible information concerning design progress, programme and cost.

Clear communication and transparency on all aspects of our work are core aims of ours. It’s important to us that we take the time to listen carefully to our clients and working partners to ensure full and open collaboration.

Being responsible

At Reed Holland we are passionate about creating healthy buildings, and this has been an underpinning principle of our work long before ‘sustainability’ became a fashion and a buzzword. Wherever possible we like to use natural materials, and take advantage of sunlight, daylight and natural ventilation.

We love researching forms of renewable energy and suggesting solutions for our clients which won’t dent their conscience or their budget.

Our training programme means everyone is up to speed with the latest technology and techniques in the construction industry, and our quality management system means we never miss an opportunity to do things better.
