PRACTICE DETAILS
This year Reed Holland Associates celebrates thirty years since the founding of the practice by John Reed in 1981 as John Reed Associates. In 1983 John was joined by Richard Holland, becoming Reed Holland Associates in 1985. In 2004 the practice became a limited company trading as Reed Holland Associates Limited. Jonathan Scanlan became a director of the practice in 2005. Most recently we have been joined by Stephen Major the ex Design and Planning Director of Gadd Homes Limited as a consultant to the practice.

PRACTICE BACKGROUND

Somerset House, Taunton

The practice was initially established in West Somerset, but has been based in the County Town of Taunton, Somerset for the last 21 years. In 2008 it moved into purpose converted accommodation at Somerset House in Middle Street, Taunton, a Grade II listed building that was originally the first District Registry Office for Taunton. The practice provides a wide range of Architectural, site and property related services for clients on projects throughout the South West of England and occasionally beyond.

RHA comprises five Chartered Architects (three of whom are Directors), three experienced Architectural Technicians and two administrative support staff. Meet our team.

PRACTICE EXPERIENCE
The Practice has managed and completed in excess of 1400 projects since its formation, ranging in value from £50,000 to £7,000,000 and covering a wide variety of uses including residential, industrial, commercial, leisure and education projects.

Our clients include public and private organisations, development companies, housing associations, commercial firms, local authorities, village hall committees, as well as private individuals.
